Giving back to the community

At Daily Freight Christchurch we like to get ourselves involved in the community. Team from other branches in the region joined us to give back to a local school in need. We headed out to Rowley Avenue School with a truck load of donated goods for the school, BBQ trailer and other goodies for the kids.

The kids welcomed us with open arms when we arrived at school. “It’s a miracle”, one happy kid said. We put on a BBQ for lunch with apples, hot soup and drinks. Each kid also got a beanie to keep them warm through the cold. After lunch, we were surprised with wonderful cultural performance from the kids to thank us.

We all enjoyed our time together and to see the look on the kids face made it all worth it.
